Corfu transportation: Find the different ways of transportation on Corfu Greece

    Buses
The island of Corfu Greece has a good quality network of roads that covers the entire island. There is a bus leaving for every destination. The island’s capital has two central bus stations. The town, as the largest in density and population in the Ionians dispose of its own network. The central station for the town’s municipal buses (the blue buses) is located at the San Rocco square. These buses cover the major parts of the town and its suburbs:

From the islandís capital, daily buses also cover the rest of the island. The bus central station (KTEL, the green buses) is located in I.Theotoki Road. Buses daily leave to: Lefkimi - Kavos - Korakades - Petriti - Hlomos - Stavroi - Stroghili - Agios Mathaios - Voumiatades - Ano and Kato Garouna - Pentati - Sinarades - Agios Gordis - Varipatades - Kalafationes - Glifada - Vato - Giannades - Ano and Kato Korakiana - Liapades - Doukades - Gardelades - Lakones - Makrades - Krini - Palaiokastritsa - Roda - Aharavi - Karoussades - Magoulades - Velonades - Afiona - Arillas - Agros - Pagi - Armenades - Rahtades - Agios Pandeleimon - Strinilla - Petalia - Sgourades - Sokraki - Porto Sinion.

Taxis
The town of Corfu has three Taxi ranks: one in the old port, one at San Rocco Square and another in G.Theotoki Street. The rates are usually calculated with a metre but for popular destinations, the driver gives generally fixed rates. There is also a radio taxi service (Tel: 33811)
